KATHMANDU, April 3: Soon after the completion of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations on Friday, the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has implemented the 12-hour per day load-shedding schedule in the Valley.

The NEA had claimed earlier that there would be no power cut from 10 pm to 5 am even after the SLC exams.

"Keeping in view the receding water levels, we had to go back to the 12-hours schedule," Sher Singh Bhat, the director of the system operations department of NEA, said.
