KATHMANDU, March 29: Security measures in Kathmandu Valley have been strengthened following a violent protest by supporters of the former king in Tinkune, Kathmandu, on Friday.
The Election Commission has mandated that candidates open bank and financial institution (BFIs) accounts to keep records of all financial transactions for election purposes.
