According to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Bishworaj Khadka, local people hurled stones and sticks on the police patrol when the patrol was mobilized for settling dispute among the locals near Shreeman brick kiln. [break]
The injured were police constable Thaneshwor Pant and head constable Ganesh Raj Joshi. They were on cycle.
Both of them have been receiving treatment at Seti Zonal Hospital, Dhangadhi.
Reasoning the attack, the police have arrested 12 locals and investigating into it. RSS
