PM says is ready to step aside for new govt

KATHMANDU, May 14: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai said on Monday that he is ready to hand over the leadership of the government to some other party before May 27.



Talking at a program organized by All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary in the capital, Bhattarai said he has no penchant for power and is willing for the change of guard in the government by that time. [break]



The PM also dismissed the rumors that he is in favor of extending the current term of the Constituent Assembly.  "The CA term won´t be extended by even a day" he said.



PM Bhattarai was also of the opinion that consensus on all disputed issues will be reached through deliberation and ruled that the issues will require to be put to vote at CA full house for settlement.
