Discussion on the recent Janakpur visit of the President was also held in the meeting, it is said. During the meeting, President Yadav urged Nepal for unity, consensus and collaboration to issue the constitution on time.
After the meeting, talking to media persons briefly, the Prime Minister said, during his meeting with the President, he expressed commitments to give a way out of the deadlock through the management of PLA combatants and timely promulgation of the constitution.
“Of late, I have taken suggestions from different political parties, representatives of diplomatic commissions, civil society leaders and others who have an important role on constitution drafting through consultations”, he added.
Responding to a question, he ruled out any meddling within the party to change the government and claimed the party is in the favor of the government.
