PAC panel to probe CNP resort row

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The parliament´s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Sunday constituted a sub-committee under the co-ordination of Maoist lawmaker Narayan Prasad Dahal to furnish a report on the dispute over the operation of resorts inside the Chitwan National Park area.



Other members of the committee include Mahendra Dhwaj GC, Lalmani Chaudhary, Atma Ram Prasad Sah, Keshav Mainali and Kalpana Subedi.



The sub-committee has been given 15 days to submit its report.



The PAC has also instructed the government not to take any decision until the committee comes to a decision.
