The company is launching 10 different models of refrigerators with capacity ranging from 62 to 380 liters. These new models will be priced between Rs 12,105 and Rs 83,000. Haier refrigerators will be available in attractive colors like red, black, grey and blue, among others.[break]
Similarly, the company is introducing five new models of LCD televisions. It is launching two models each on 32-inch and 42-inch segments and one on 55-inch segment. The 32-inch models will cost Rs 44,699, the 42-inch models will be priced at Rs 71,750 and the 55-inch model can be taken home for Rs 188,200.
The company is also introducing three different models of Haier LED televisions - 24-inch, 32-inch and 55-inch. “While the 55-inch Haier L55R3 will cost Rs 188,200, the 24-inch Haier LE24E3 and 32-inch LE32HR will cost Rs 32,950 and Rs 52,700, respectively,” said Lila Raj Singh, sales and marketing manager of Orbit International.
Officials of Orbit International said they are hopeful that the new range of Haier products will be popular in the market as they are being launched ahead of the major festive season when shoppers splurge on household appliances.
“We have to introduce new products to fulfill the growing demand and make our presence stronger in the market,” said Singh. He further added that demand for trendy household appliances is increasing gradually, thanks to improving living standard of Nepali people.
Singh is optimistic that the new models will strengthen Haier presence in the market and also help increase market share.
Orbit has been selling its products through 90 dealers across the country. It provides one year warranty on Haier appliances. The company is providing festive discount of 3-10 discount on each purchase. The discount offer is valid till November 20.
