One killed, two injured in Siraha accident

SIRAHA, Aug 28: A man was killed and two others injured in a road accident in Siraha district on Tuesday. A bus hit a cyclist and a motorbike with two riders on the East west highway in Ansarpur VDC-7.

According to the police, cycle rider Ranjit Mahara, 30, of Pidarboni was killed and the two others on the motorcycle - Shiva Narayan Takur and Ganga Prasad Batar from Rampur VDC-2 were injured. [break]

The injured are being treated at Siraha Bhumija Hospital. The police has detained the bus driver.
