KATHMANDU, April 7: The employees of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) staged sit-in for two hours at the main gate of the bank, putting forth their demands.

The sit-in was a symbolic protest as the bank ignores the employees´ 35-day long ultimatum submitted on February 13, warned Radha Krishna Pudasaini, chairman of Rastra Bank Financial Employees´ Union. [break]

The employees also barred Governor Dr. Yubarau Khatiwada to enter to his office for 15 minutes.

Pudasaini has warned of stern protest from next week if their demands were not met.
