Hasami died while undergoing treatment in the capital for burn injuries on December 8.
Making public its field report on Thursday spokesperson of the Commission Mohana Ansari said that the incident was becoming mysterious due to separate statements from the deceased´s mother, and doctors and nurses.
Ansari said that the police should make criteria of investigation wider and probe families of Babu Khan, accused of setting Hasami on fire and the deceased´s family should be conducted.
Ansari said the team listened to five eyewitnesses, alleged lover Khan, family members of the deceased, local administration and civil society.
She said, "A section of people have given statements saying Hasami came out from her house shouting while burning while others said that she was burnt outside the house. This has made the incident more suspicious."
Ansari said that involvement of Khan is not fully proved as no suspicious object was found in his body and because he was found staying at his home while Hasima was set ablaze adding that he came out of his house only after learning of Hasima being caught in a fire.
Khan told the investigation team that earlier Hasima had earlier shared with him her suspicion of her family attempting to kill her.
Ansari said that the police investigation was weak as it was one-sided, with the focus only on Hasami´s alleged lover Khan while mobile phone sms of both Babu and Hasami were deleted.
