KATHMANDU: Nepal Students Union (NSU) has asked its mother party Nepali Congress (NC) to give former NSU presidents and office bearers an opportunity to contest the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.

Issuing a press statement on Monday, NSU President Ranjeet asked the party leadership to provide opportunity to NSU leaders to contest the CA polls both under the First-Past-the-Post and proportional electoral system. NSU has also urged all its central members, student leaders and others to play an active role in their respective election constituencies. Among other things, NSU has also appealed to all in the student body to make the upcoming 11th general convention a huge success.
