In the 10-point demand submitted by the NSU to TU vice-chancellor on Tuesday, the sister organization of the Nepali Congress (NC) demanded that the FSU election calendar be publicized at the earliest. [break]
NSU also accused the TU management of being indifferent to improving the overall academic environment of the university and warned of stringent protests if their demands are not met on time.
NSU has demanded that TU effectively implement its academic calendar while giving due consideration to improving the academic quality of the university.
Similarly, NSU has demanded that TU make arrangements to publish results within two months of examination. The student body has also asked the TU to stop recruiting faculty on the basis of their political affiliations.
