NOC President Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan handed over $250 each to the para-athletes as financial assistance.
"We´ll keep on exploring opportunities for our para-athletes," said Pradhan. "Our para-athletes had put up good show in Guangzhou Para Asian Games in 2010. We hope they will better their timing in London," he added.

Two athletes and eight other Nepal Paralympics Committee officials will participate in the London Games. "We could not achieve preparation grant from the London Paralympics Organizing Committee as we could not fulfill their conditions," said Surendra Basnet, the president of Nepal Paralympics Committee.
"We are facing financial crunch and other technical difficulties. However, Coach Lila Shrestha and other two officials are flying to London on Friday," said Basnet.
According to Basnet, the para-athletes would fly to London either on Saturday or Monday. "We are looking for air tickets for an early date. We cannot send para-athletes and officials, who use wheelchairs, on their own. I´m managing air-tickets to take them along with me," said Basnet.
However, Basnet accepted that they do not have enough funds to take all the delegation members to London.
Meanwhile, Coach Lila Shrestha said he is flying to London as another official Ramesh Shrestha sponsored his airfare.
