A press statement issued by HAN said NIMA under Punjab Technical University (PTU), India had agreed to provide two scholarships for academic year 2012/2013 at PTU. [break]
"During discussion both the institution agreed for facilitating research and publication in their respective areas for influence and expertise," the statement added.
Similarly, with a view to harness vast potential of promoting tourism, Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) organized a meeting with NIMA delegation.
"The speakers of the program suggested that interactive discussion program between the travel agents of Nepal and North India should be organized at Chandigarh, Punjab and Kathmandu to work out a long term plan to promote travel trade in both countries," a NATTA statement said.
NIMA has also offered two scholarships to NATTA in Master in Service Industry Management, a two year course starting from the upcoming academic session.
HAN president Shyam S.L Kakshpati and NIMA president Dr. Gulshan Sharma signed the agreement. The statement said vice chancellor of Punjab University and his team and executive committee members of HAN attended the program.
