Newborn delivered in SLC exam hall

JAJARKOT, March 27: In the final day of the SLC examinations, an examinee has delivered a child in the exams hall in Jajarkot on Friday.

Bimala Chalaune (Singh) with symbol No. 0643593 of Maltakura Secondary School has delivered a baby girl.


Bimala, who was taking SLC exams from Talegaun-based Manne Dhunga Higher Secondary School exams center gave birth to the newborn 15 minutes before the Education Paper started.

The condition of both the mother and child is said to be normal.

15-year-old Bimala had tied the knot with a local boy while she was studying at grade 10 last year. Since baby was born on the festival of Chaite Dashain, the newborn has been named Shantimaya.
