Nepal's tourism promotion program in SKorea

KATHMANDU, Feb. 28: Nepalese Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, organized a one-day seminar on ´Nepal: A Land of Culture, Nature and Adventure ´ with an objective of promoting Nepal´s tourism in Korea. South Korea is a good market for Nepal´s tourism industry for being the Buddhist-dominated country.



Raja Ram Bartaula, Chare d´ Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal in Seoul presented the slides of prominent features of the Nepalese tourism and requested the participants representing travel and tour operators to develop the specific Nepal-centric tourism packages. [break]



On the occasion, Bartaula urged the Korean tour operators to lure more visitors in Lumbini, saying that Nepal government has declared Visit Lumbini Year-2012 as a centre of peace.



President of Korea-Nepal Friendship Association and Alpine Federation of Korea, Dr Lee In-Jeong, called on the stakeholders to promote the fascinating Nepalese cultures, natures and adventures in Korea.



The seminar was attended by representatives of travel and tour, airlines operators and tourism entrepreneurs.
