Nembang nominated UML standing committee member

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The Standing Committee meeting of CPN-UML on Friday nominated former speaker Subas Chandra Nembang as standing committee member.

UML assistant general secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal said Nembang was nominated to the post vacant after Vice-chairman and SC member Bidya Devi Bhandari was elected as President.Likewise, UML assigned responsibility of Chief of International Department to senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal to Study Academy.

Both Nepal and Khanal were claiming their appointment as Chief at International Department.   

Similarly, leader Bhim Acharya has been assigned to monitor Eastern Region.   

According to Bhusal, the meet further decided to forward the constitution amendment bill registered by the erstwhile government.
