KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The leaders of Nepali Congress and UCPN (Maoist) met on Wednesday morning in an effort to strike an agreement before the prime ministerial election.

Although both parties agreed for the rotational leadership of the government, they failed to make any decision.

According to a source, Maoist did not agree to NC’s demand that it should be allowed to lead the government first.
