KATHMANDU, July 31: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is currently on India visit, said his party is in favor of promulgating new constitution with delineation on Friday.

Speaking at an interaction organized in New Delhi today, Deuba said the top-notch leaders of the major political parties are holding talks on promulgating the new constitution with delineation by taking Madhes-based parties into confidence.

Speaking on the occasion, Deuba also assured the Indians that Nepal is a safe haven for investment and travel.

With BIPPA, PTA and PDA already signed between Nepal and India, Indians can now freely invest in the fields of hydropower, agriculture and roads, Deuba said.

Lauding the role of former ambassador KV Rajan for Mahakali Treaty signed between Nepal and India during his stint, Deuba expressed his belief that it would be implemented as soon as possible.
