KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Nepali Congress has announced Sachin Timalsena as its candidate for Kathmandu constituency number 4.
According to sources, the NC's Parliamentary Board approved Timalsena’s nomination.

Timalsena is a well-known cricket commentator and a long-time supporter of the NC. Kathmandu-4 is considered a stronghold of NC President Gagan Thapa, who won two consecutive elections from there.
This time, Thapa is filing his candidacy from Sarlahi-4.
