NC dissatisfied with government

KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Nepali Congress (NC) leaders have expressed dissatisfaction over the working style and work performance of the government. NC leaders expressed their dissatisfaction during a meeting with Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal as his government completed 100 days on Friday. [break]



The prime minister´s meeting with NC leaders comes at a time when the party´s president Girija Prasad Koirala publicly expressed his dissatisfaction at various recent decisions taken by the government.



Sources said NC is dissatisfied at the prime minister´s decision to make some key appointments without consulting NC and promotion of government employees. NC leaders have suggested prime minister work by taking NC and Madhesi parties into confidence.



The meeting held at the residence of NC leader Dr Narayan Khadka at Maharajgunj on Saturday morning discussed in detail about bridging the differences surfaced between the two major ruling parties in recent days.



NC Acting President Sushil Koirala, parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Poudel and Vice President Prakash Man Singh, among others, were present during the meeting with the prime minister.
