NC has been insisting that a state restructuring commission be set up to resolve issues related to delineation of federal states in the new constitution.

Today’s meeting also assigned three of its members Nabindra Raj Joshi, Dhan Raj Gurung and Shankar Bhandari, with the task of resolving pay disputes at various casinos in co-ordination with the Nepal Trade Union  Congress-Independent and asked them to report to it at the earliest.

Likewise the meeting condemned the July 29 police firing in Sunsari that resulted in the death of one of its cadres, Sanu Yadav, and demanded action against the guilty and compensation to the deceased’s family.
