The services as of distribution of citizenship certificate, renewal of Tibetan refugees and revenue collection have been disrupted after the employees left the Office following transfer.

The locals said there is unsystematic export and import from Namche, Lukla and the places bordered to Tibet, China due to the lack of check from the administration.

They have also been worried over the security.

It takes almost four-day trek from the Border Office to the District Headquarters, Salleri.

However, Chief District Officer, Bhawani Prasad Parajuli, said the concerned department had already been informed about this.

He further said the problem would be solved very soon.

The people from Namche, Khumjung and Chaurikhar VDCs of the district have been receiving citizenship certificate from the Border Administration office of Namche.
