NA begins probe into Banke accident

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The Nepal Army (NA) has detained army personnel involved in a road accident in Banke on Tuesday that left a person dead for investigation. Prem Narayan Poudel, a local, was knocked down to death by an NA jeep along Nepalgunj-Surekhet road on Tuesday.



"The NA has taken the army personnel involved in the accident under control and has started necessary investigation into the matter," said Directorate of Public Relations of the NA in a press statement issued on Wednesday. The NA assured the public of taking legal action against the guilty.
