Have you imagined it? As we go through this stage, everything changes physically, mentally, socially, and most of all, emotionally. [break]
As we go through life, we meet changes. Changes that will affect our character stand above all. What you know will lay the foundation for your state in the future. For a short period of our adolescence, we must try to make this the exciting, enjoyable, and memorable times in our lives.
As a teenager, we are in that enviable stage where everything is positioned to go our way. We are young, full of energy, we feel like we are incredible, carefree and becoming free and more independent day by day.
We will also have a thousand and one questions as we enter this new stage of our lives. This is the time when we actually need the guidance and support of our parents and older people.
We are social creatures and the need for companionship is most pronounced among teenagers. The company we keep will have a great effect in our teenage life. Choosing the right circle of friends will save us from a lot of troubles, heartaches and possibly bad steps in our lives.
The teenage phase is most critical phase of any person’s life, where one decides to either make or ruin their future. Today we think that we are superior and can do anything. We walk our own way of whim and caprice and don’t enjoy anyone’s interference in our life.
This phase which can be synonymous to wet clay that can be molded in any shape or size, and it decides our future and the future path we walk.
In this phase there are many possibilities for teenagers like us to take the path of anti-social activities such as drug abuse, unwanted sexual relationships, smuggling etc. which has been followed by many teenagers today and it has ultimately resulted in a massive problem for themselves, their families, community, society, nation and the entire globe.
In the 21st century, the booming modernization has resulted out be the main factor for hindering the development of teenagers. Today’s teenagers are found to be hanging on electronic gadgets rather than getting involved in community work and spending more time with nature and family.
We teenagers are accused that we are getting uncivilized and rude day by day. The teenage phase is a phase where any teenagers appreciates getting advice rather than imposed orders.
Every teenager requires timely advice and counseling for their future development .The parents of teenagers should be extra cautious about their child’s activity and help them take the right path.
The positive deeds done by any teenagers should be highly emphasized and appreciated so that they result out to be a praiseworthy human being in the future.
Even teenagers should show their co-operation with members of community, family and do the works which will give them better future ahead. At last I wish every teenager in Nepal a happy teen time ahead.
