KATHMANDU, March 12: Demanding their identity in the constitution through an amendment, Muslim groups have announced protest programs beginning Thursday. The protest includes torch rallies, protest rallies and bandas in Kathmandu Valley and regions, said Taj Mohammad Miya, coordinator of Muslims National Struggle Committee in the capital on Thursday. Miya’s group had participated in first dialogues with the government and agitating groups including Tharus on Tuesday, but snubbed second-day talks with the government on Wednesday.
