'Multiparty democracy with constitutional monarchy' : RPP-N

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, a pro-royalist party, has unveiled an ´alternative roadmap´ for political resolution and country´s prosperity organizing a programme here on Friday.



On the occasion, RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa expressed confidence that the commoners would accept the party´s roadmap.



Thapa also urged the civil society leaders and intellectuals to launch debate on the alternative roadmap by shunning the erstwhile failed roadmap. [break]



The roadmap includes multiparty democracy with constitutional monarchy, liberal economy, religious equity, national interests and foreign policy with pride, among others.



Journalist Adiyaman Shrestha, water resource expert Dipak Gyawali, Vice-chairmen of the Federation of the Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bhaskarraj Rajkarnikar and Pradip Jung Pandey, political analyst CK Lal, foreign affair expert Jayraj Acharya, journalist Dhruba Hari Adhikari, former Chief of Army Staff Rukmagad Katawal, Prof Dr Surendra KC, pilot Bijay Lama, analyst Bharat Dahal and executive director of MIREST Suresh Acharya commented on the ´alternative roadmap´.
