Morang jailbirds hit hard by lack of ration

BIRATNAGAR, Oct 17: Inmates of Morang jail have been hit hard due to lack of ration. According to jailor Khagendra Giri, the jail has ration shortage for the last two week after the government did not provide budget for ration to the prisoners.



Morang prison has over 500 inmates; two fold more than its capacity. The prison house was under ration crisis, as the money released to the prison house was sufficient to only 200 prisoners.



District administration office has provided Rs 150,000 for the solution of the problem at the instant.
