The deceased has been identified as Purimaya Chepang, 10, of Lothar-4, Chitwan, informed the Area Police Office, Gajuri.
The Kathmandu bound truck (Na 3 Kha 4028) hit Chepang killing her on the spot, police said.
Chepang was going to meet her brother when the mishap occurred.
