Memo handed to Prez

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Participants of the Nepal March for Education on Friday handed a memorandum to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, drawing the latter´s attention to the status of education, especially of deprived children, a day after the 10-day long march ended on Thursday.



Dilli Chaudhary, President of BASE-Nepal and coordinator of the march, handed over the memorandum to the president amidst a program at the President´s Office.







Earlier on Thursday, Minister for Labor Mohammad Aftab Alam, addressing the conclusion of the campaign, announced to form a child labor commission to address the problem of child labor in the country.
