Media materials to journalists

TANAHUN, March 31: Damauli UNESCO Club has provided with communication related materials to 25 media professionals of the district on the occasion of the inception of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).



FNJ is the umbrella organization of more than 10,000 working journalists of Nepal. [break]



On the occasion, Executive Officer at Byas municipality, Ram Chandra Tiwari gave away jacket reading press, diary and pen to active journalists of the district.



He expressed confidence that the aid will help journalists move ahead to take up their responsibility even amid challenges and risks to their lives.



Similarly, a morning rally was organized in Damauli on Wednesday to mark the founding day of the FNJ. FNJ, Tanahun chapter organized the event.



Various speakers at the meet organized after the rally stressed that the media sector should come up with sharp pen to build public opinions to pile pressure for the timely promulgation of constitution in the country.
