Man hired contract killer to kill elder brother

PALPA, Jan 13: A man had hired a contract killer to get rid of his elder brother in Palpa, it is learnt. According to the police, Sujan Koirala had paid Rs 200,000 to a contract killer to murder his elder brother Sudip Koirala.



Sujan, 25, of Tansen Municipality -11, had hired a contract killer named Kalu Chand, 28, from Churaha-2 Dailekh, to kill Sudip. Kalu is reportedly a Nepal Army soldier. Police has already written to NA brigade in Butwal, where Kalu is reportedly posted.[break]



Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sthaneshwar Regmi said Sujan and Kalu hacked Sudip to death on January 7. Police had recovered Sudip´s death body from Kerabari along the Palpa-Butwal road section on Saturday. The motive behind the murder still remains unknown.
