The theme for the contest has been left open and participants can submit their videos online on YouTube and fill the online entry form at www. indiejournalism.org.[break]
The videos are to be submitted under competition category before November 12.
The competition will award two videos, one of which will be selected by a jury comprising of veteran visual communicator, social entrepreneur and filmmakers; and the other will be the audience choice. Both winning videos will be awarded $500 each.

The audience will vote among the videos short listed by the jury and Indie Journalism board. It will be conducted via Facebook and the video with most number of Facebook “likes” will be declared the winner.
Prizes will be awarded according to standards of effort, visual storytelling and video production technique. The award ceremony of the competition is scheduled to be held on November 24.
