Many renowned writers and critics from different fields including Dr Abhi Subedi, Kanak Mani Dixit and Archana Thapa will give talks at the conference. Writers and scholars who have sent in their paper abstracts and have been selected will be attending the discussions.[break]
LAN started two decades ago by a group of academicians from Tribhuvan University with the main purpose of promoting academic, literary and academic research.
With the establishment of new Universities, LAN now constitutes members and supporters from Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, Purbanchal University and Mahendra Sanskrit University.
“The main purpose of this conference is to get students indulge in a discussion. Masters students are often restricted to their classrooms and lectures; we wanted to make this discussion more interactive with scholarly discussions with scholars from Nepal, India and Bangladesh,” says Bal Bahadur Thapa, Editor for Literary Studies, a publication from LAN.
The event is open for all with a full registration charge (including lunch) of Rs 1,000 and sit in registrations of Rs 200 per person.
