Kung-fu team leaving for Thailand

KATHMANDU, March 11 :  A 16-member Nepali Uma Kung-fu team is set to leave for Thailand to take part in the First Martial Arts Games scheduled for March 12-22 in Bangkok. Among them five players will leave for Wednesday, while rest members of the team will leave on Friday, according to Nepal Uma Kung-fu Association.

Maniraj Mikchhan, Pragya KC and Raman Rai Chamling will compete in Tai Chi section, while Prakash Khatri (75 kg), Amin Tamang (80 kg), Bikash Lama (40 kg), Ayushma Shrestha (40 kg), Dev Tamang (40 kg), Daba Lama (65 kg), Shristi Shrestha (35 kg), Subash Adhikari (35 kg) and Suhan Shrestha (51 kg) will compete in Sanda section.
