A series of bilateral talks between Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee and relatives of the deceased have remained inconclusive after the victim´s side demanded compensation.

Begam Pun, younger brother of the deceased Hira Bahadur said they would not budge from their stance until they were duly compensated.

Executive Director of Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee Arjun Aryal has urged the victim´s relatives to collect the dead bodies saying that the Committee has already recommended the Ministry of Agriculture and District Administration Office for compensation.

Aryal said the Committee will bear the cost of treatment of the injured if the government fails to pay their treatment bill and the government has been recommended to form a high-level probe panel for the investigation of the Kalimati inferno.
