The album contains songs based on 10 of Joshi’s poems and one other poem, sung by artists, Ani Chhoying Dolma, Ram Krishna Dhakal and Bala Bhattarai.[break]
Joshi, who is a doctor by profession and also the son of poet Taraprasad Joshi, mentioned that he found the inspiration to write these poems due to the poetic atmosphere that his father created at home during his childhood.
“I wrote these poems a year ago and am very thankful that Nhyoo Bajracharya found them suitable to compose music for them and the artists who have sung it beautifully,” added Joshi.
Ghimire also described the songs and the poems they were based on as simple yet exquisitely written verses about the problems, findings and solutions of life.
He congratulated Dr Joshi as well as the composer and artists for their extraordinary contributions in the album.
