Indian vehicle torched

BHADRAPUR, April 11: An angry group set fire on an Indian vehicle in Jhapa saying the driver beat up the people who were injured after the vehicle hit them.



The people set fire on the vehicle (WB 777151) coming to Budhabare from Ilam at 8 p.m. on Saturday, said the District Police Office Jhapa.



Kamala Acharya and Deepak Subedi were injured when the vehicle hit a van.



As the driver of the Indian vehicle started beating them, the group set the vehicle on fire. The vehicle is completely burnt and its driver is at large.
