Include airport tax in ticket: Travel Agents

BIRATNAGAR, Sept 8: Travel Agents have requested airlines companies to include airport tax and boarding pass along with the ticket. Biratnagar based travel agents on Friday also complained about negligible commission on domestic sector.



At the program organized by Buddha Air, Executive Manager of the airlines Rupesh Joshi said the company was preparing to increase the commission for the travel agents. [break]



Joshi also informed about adding new ATR 72-500 to its fleet. He further said that the airlines was positive about issuing the boarding pass and airport tax in the ticket.



Buddha Air also awarded the top 10 travel agencies at the event. Giriraj Basnet, Manager of Buddha Air at Biratnagar appreciated the role of travel agencies in making it the leading operator.
