Govt will be toppled thru street protest: Deuba

DADELDHURA, Jan 25: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Sher Bahdur Deuba on Friday accused the incumbent government of being authoritarian and said the government would be overthrown soon.



Speaking at a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union here in the district, leader Deuba added that street agitation of opposition parties has already gained momentum to topple the incumbent government.[break]



Stressing on the urgent need of holding elections of Constituent Assembly, Deuba further accused the UCPN (Maoist) leadership of being reluctant to go for elections fearing loss. In a separate context, NC leader Deuba criticized the government for intimidating journalists.
