Girl dies after hit by school bus

CHITWAN, Feb 14: A 10-year-old student of Motherland Boarding School in Khairani has died after being hit by her own school bus on Saturday.

Smriti Pradhan, a third grader at the school, was hit by the bus (Ga 1 Ka 1169) at Magante Chowk, Khaireni at 10 am and succumbed to her injuries while being treated at the Chitwan Medical College, police said.

Her body is kept at the Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem.
