Giri's hunger strike enters day 12

KATHMANDU: Nepal Sadbhavana Party Chairperson Sarita Giri has accused the Regmi-led government of not being serious towards their concerns. Talking to Republica, party spokesperson Govinda Sah said that the government has not shown any concern even as Giri has been staging hunger strike for the past 12 days.



“Her health condition has deteriorated,” said Sah, adding that Giri would continue her hunger strike till her demands are met. Giri is staging hunger strike since August 13 in the capital demanding a review of the number of election constituencies for the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections.
