Envoys to UN, US appointed

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, on the recommendation of the council of ministers, appointed Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma as ambassador to the USA and Gyan Chandra Acharya as permanent representative to the United Nations Headquarters, New York, on Sunday.



The appointments were made in accordance with Article 150 of the Interim Constitution-2063, the Office of the President informed.
