The elephant that entered the settlement from the Chitwan National Park has pulled down two houses of locals in Ayodhyapuri VDC -6, said District Police Office. [break]
It pulled down houses of Bir Chandra Thapa and Sahadev Thapa.
Locals, however, survived by fleeing in the night.
People of Madi have vented ire for lack of proper management of the wild lives by the concerned.
But it has not been confirmed whether it was elephant Dhurbe, the notorious elephant killing many people in the area recently.
The people of the area have been terrorized after a Bote couple was killed from the attack by the elephant Dhurbe.
