A special team of police arrested Santosh Rai of Itahari-8, who was on the police´s most wanted list, in possession of a huge amount of drugs including Nitrogen, Spasmo Proxyvon, Corex and Avil, the police said.
Police Inspector Shyamal Subba said they had been searching for Rai for over a month. There are over half a dozen drug rackets operating in the east and police are searching for them, Subba said.
Rai said he used to smuggle drugs from Jogbani of India and sell them to drug users in Dharan, Itahari, Biratnagar, Jhapa and other places.
