“Modifying the courses won’t suffice as there is a need for change in the teaching style too,” said Dr Hem Kumar Mishra, the Vice President of Higher Secondary Education Board.
Dr. Siddhi Prasad Koirala added that the courses on mathematics are of international level but the way of the teaching needs to vary.
Similarly, Prakash Muni Bajracharya, the President of South Western State College, suggested that a comprehensive teaching method should be adopted for better understanding and implementation.
The discussion was attended by teachers from different colleges and institutions. The college has been interacting with the members of the Higher Secondary Education Board to enhance the theoretical and practical factors in various subjects, along with teaching methods.
