Local resident informed about the two-month-old baby to police after they heard the baby crying near the road at Majhphant during the night. [break]
The baby has been sent to Myagdi district Hospital for its health check up, said police.
Parents of the baby are yet to be identified. Police have been investigating why the baby was thrown there, said Baribeni Police Post in-charge Basu Dev Pandit.
