The deceased has been identified as Paras Kumar Mandal of Mahadewa VDC-2. [break]
With this, the death toll by the disease has risen to four in Saptari.
Mandal, who was suffering from high fever and stomachache and passed out, was initially admitted to Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj.
He was then referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan for further treatment. Mandal however died on the way to BPKISH.
