Curfew lifted for 2 hrs in Tikapur

TIKAPUR (KAILALI), Sept 2: The local administration in Kailali district lifted the curfew for two hours from 8 a.m.to 10 a.m. on Monday. The ongoing curfew, strictly imposed since the gruesome murder of eight security personnel and a toddler during the Tharuhat agitations, has been crippling the daily life of locals.

Recent incidents have caused a lot of fear and tension in the area, and the local administration has decided to bring the situaion back to normal.Area Administration Officer Suman Dhital informed that the curfew was lifted to ease daily life. In the two hours, people came out of their homes and there was quite a lot of movement in the market.
