Feasibility study of the project based on the public-private partnership concept had completed recently.[break]
According to Nepal Infrastructure Development Company Ltd, the 48 kilometer- highway would link Kathmandu and Hetaunda via Bhimphedi, Kulekhani and Sisneri.
Twenty billion rupees has been allocated for the construction of the tunnel way. Shares will be also issued to the locals to establish their ownership over the project, said company Chairman Kush Kumar Joshi.
